Meet the Staff

Every single person you see below has performed at the highest-level for at least two years as a member of the Lexington Quizbowl and History Team. From winning state and regional tournaments to making appearances on the national stage, we've all been there.

In each and every one of us is a will to teach and mentor the next generation of competitive scholars.

Aansh Jha

Aansh is an incoming college freshman and his favorite subjects are history, current events, mythology, religion, and science. He is interested in biology, pop culture, Boston sports and birds.

Aansh will be leading the history and mythology/religion seminars.

Sirawich Hongsamat

Sirawich is an incoming college freshman and his favorite subjects are history and geography. He is interested in geography, minecraft, food, and football (soccer).

Sirawich will be doing a guest lecture about geography.

Catherine Tan

Catherine is a rising senior and her favorite subjects are english and history. She is interested in visual arts, especially drawing and painting.

Catherine will be leading the science and fine arts seminars.

Malvika Iyer

Malvika is a rising senior and her favorite subjects are literature and science.

Malvika will be leading the literature and mythology/religion seminars.

Darren Tran

Darren is a rising senior and his favorite subjects are history, social science, philosophy, current events and fine arts. He is interested in political discourse, public policy and UCF football.

Darren will be leading the guided study and philosophy/social sciences seminars.

Francis is a rising senior and his favorite subjects are history, mythology, and science. He is interested in baseball, physics, mathematics.

Francis will be leading the trash and philosophy/social sciences seminars.

Daniel xiang

Daniel is a senior junior and his favorite subjects are biology, chemistry, and history. He is fond of Minecraft, Drawing, and food.

Danny will be helping with the science instruction.

Gideon Tzafriri

Gideon is a rising senior and his favorite subjects are chemistry, physics, history, and current events. He enjoys competing and writing questions in Science Bowl, watching soccer, and eating cereal as a gourmet snack.

Gideon will be helping lead the science seminar.

Albert is a rising senior and his favorite subjects are history, geography, and fine arts. He is interested in computer science, the Houston Rockets and foreign football (soccer).

Albert will be leading the history and fine arts seminars.
